We will hear interesting presentations from Prof. Florian Leese, Aquatic Ecosystem Research Group, University of Duisburg-Essen and Saara Suominen, Scientific Officer, UNESCO/ Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC). New national roadmap for implementing eDNA and other molecular monitoring methods in Finland will be also presented on the event: http://hdl.handle.net/10138/342992 The main focus of the workshop is on interactive discussion. We will discuss together on data management, usability, and the development of databases in the implementation of eDNA and other molecular monitoring methods. The workshop is organized by the Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE)’s project Finnish Ecosystem Observatory “FEO”.
